What will you be doing
We are seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential clients who will benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at researching leads, start new relationships, and set our sales closers up for success.
You will be enthusiastic, able to engage with enterprise level clients, and determined to succeed. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential client is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Primary duties will include;
- Utilise HubSpot, cold calling, social media (such as LinkedIn) and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
- Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives.
- Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods.
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads.
- Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts.
What we are looking for
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience;
- Relevant work experience in a client facing environment (you may be an experienced SDR or moving to your second job).
- Demonstrated ability to work solo and remotely as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day.
- Strong communication and influencing skills via phone and email.
- Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organisation.
- Flawless communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage with senior professionals (up to CEO, CFO, COO, CIO etc) within enterprise clients.
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects.
- Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads.
- Commercial awareness and thorough understanding of brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects.
- Languages: English is a must, but other Northern European languages would be an advantage.
