What you will be doing

We are seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who will benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Primary duties will include;

  • Utilise HubSpot, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect’s needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report to Marketing Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
  • Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts

What we are looking for

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience;

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 2-3 years of sales experience, with a history of exceeding lead targets
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization
  • Flawless communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience
  • Working knowledge of the enterprise software market or the ability to learn new software quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
  • Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
  • Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
  • Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
  • You love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvement
  • Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
  • Languages: English is a must, but other Northern European languages would be an advantage
